"From an early age, I knew two things with certainty — I wanted to care for others, and I wanted to become a mother."

"After earning my Registered Nurse license in 2017, I began my career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where I developed a deep respect for the resilience and complexity of newborn life. Working with the most fragile infants shaped my clinical foundation and deepened my understanding of how critical the earliest days truly are.

While continuing my hospital career, I began providing overnight newborn care to families in their homes. It quickly became clear that parents needed more than help during the night — they needed reassurance, education, and a trusted professional presence during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.

In 2022, I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing Education, further strengthening my ability to guide, teach, and support families with confidence and clarity. What began as a passion steadily evolved into Simply Sleep — a nurse-led practice rooted in safety, evidence-based care, and thoughtful support.

When I became a mother in 2024 to my son, my perspective deepened in ways only parenthood can provide. Experiencing the postpartum period firsthand reaffirmed my belief that comprehensive support is not a luxury — it is essential. Not only for mothers, but for the entire family.

Today, my mission remains simple: to help families feel prepared, supported, and deeply at ease during the first months of parenthood. Whether guiding healthy sleep foundations, providing lactation support, or offering overnight care that allows parents to truly rest, my goal is always the same — to bring calm and confidence into your home.

I am incredibly proud to lead a team of exceptional Registered Nurses who share this commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care. It is an honor to serve families during such a meaningful chapter."

Meet Our Clinical Team

At Simply Sleep, the professionals invited into your home are thoughtfully selected for both their clinical expertise and their compassionate approach to newborn care. Each member of our team is a Registered Nurse that brings extensive hands-on experience supporting families during the earliest stages of parenthood.

Beyond credentials, we seek individuals who embody calm professionalism, emotional intelligence, and a deep respect for the trust families place in our care. Our team is united by a shared commitment to evidence-based practices, safe sleep, and providing a steady, reassuring presence during the newborn transition.

When you welcome Simply Sleep into your home, you can feel confident knowing you are supported by experienced professionals dedicated to your family’s wellbeing — allowing you to rest more deeply and step into parenthood with greater ease.

"A team you can trust - so you can rest."

"Hello, I’m Natasha but most people just call me Tasha! I’ve been a postpartum nurse at West Penn Hospital since 2024, and caring for new moms and their babies is truly my heart’s work. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than helping families feel calm, confident, and supported as they step into life with a newborn. As both a nurse and a mom, I understand the mix of joy, nerves, and sleepless excitement that comes with those early days—and I love being the reassuring voice that reminds parents, “You’ve got this.”

When I’m not at the hospital, you can usually find me out on a hiking trail, lifting at the gym, or spending time training my dog. These are the things that keep me grounded, energized, and ready to bring my best self to the families I support. I am truly excited to meet you and your family, and I can’t wait to work with you during such a special time!"

"Hi, I'm Emily! I am drawn to postpartum nursing because it allows me to care for two patients at once—the mother and her newborn—while also supporting the entire family unit. Whether I’m helping a mom  navigate a new breastfeeding journey or simply offering encouragement during a 2 a.m. feeding—I strive to create a safe and empowering environment.

Newborn care is equally meaningful to me. I am passionate about ensuring families feel informed, prepared, and supported as they transition home.

As for me, I am someone who appreciates both comfort and adventure. I love going on long walks, catching up on reality tv, or trying a new coffee shop—all ways I try to reset myself mentally and physically after a busy week. One of my biggest perks is traveling with my boyfriend, who is a pilot. We love taking the opportunity to explore new cities together.

I am honored to walk alongside families as they begin their journey together. Being part of these first chapters is a privilege I never take for granted."
